Leonardo was born in the Philippines, but grew up in Indonesia. He is loud and supremely confident, having always played the clown in social situations.
Leonardo is the youngest of four children in a very tight-knit family where mother's rule is number one. “I'm pretty much a mama's boy,” he said. “They don't get any worse than me.” Leonardo has been big his whole life and says he doesn’t know what he looks like thin.
Leonardo’s favourite food is everything ‘meaty’ and he doesn’t eat vegetables. Food has always been his comfort zone and his family and culture believe that it’s better to have more food than less.
Leonardo was inspired by David and Carlo in season one of The Biggest Loser and believes that by taking part in the show he will receive the discipline and guidance he needs to take the next step and make his mother proud.
