Manjit is a student from Singapore, currently putting off her graduation to participate in the show. She was inspired to join The Biggest Loser Asia by her sister, Nikki Kaur, who was in the first season. Despite leaving in the first episode, Nikki went on to lose 20kg under her own steam at a Fitness First gym.
It’s up to Manjit to prove that she can lose weight fast and keep up with her sister’s progress. She doesn’t like to work out by herself and will be looking for support and guidance from her team mates and trainers to push her the extra mile. But Manjit has a secret weapon... she's already been doing some strengthening work and thinks she's got a head start!
Manjit’s family has traditionally eaten a very high fat diet, consisting of fried foods and large portions of carbohydrate. Chocolate is her weak spot and she can eat 250 grams of it for lunch. She eats more when she’s happy and loses weight when she’s stressed.
Manjit was made fun of as a child by her peers, their parents and even her teachers because of her size. She is a strong and determined character who knows that she has a beautiful face. However, she believes that changing her body will give her more chances in life ...
If Manjit becomes the next Biggest Loser Asia, she plans to use the money to help children and teenagers who are obese. It is her dream to become an ambassador for the next generation and share her experiences from The Biggest Loser Asia Season 2.
