Rico is an actor and comedian. He's eloquent, entertaining and determined to win. His favourite foods are pizza, (he can eat three large boxes in five minutes), spaghetti and fried rice with anchovies.
He is the only one from his close-knit family who is obese and now that he's living with his elderly parents he want to be fit enough to look after them. He feels he has let go of himself and would love to take part in more sports and activities.
Being obese has also prevented him from moving forward in his acting career and he is now more active behind the camera. However, his true passion is acting and he would like to lose the weight to return to it. Rico’s frustration with his inability to take control of his life and gain back his health caused him to join the show, and he now feels that The Biggest Loser Asia is his only route back to a happy, healthy lifestyle.
