Spicy beef and mushroom kebabs

These are fantastic done on the barbecue. Use any combination of vegetables.
Ingredients

Ginger, fresh, 2 tablespoon(s), grated
Garlic, 2 clove(s), crushed
Lime juice, 2 juice of 1 lime
Red chilli, 2 chili(s), seeded and finely sliced
Oyster sauce, 0.5 cup(s)
Sesame oil, 1 teaspoon(s)
Vegetable oil blend, 2 tablespoon(s),
Beef fillet, lean, grilled, 500 g, cut into cubes
Sweetcorn, 1 cob(s), husks removed and cut into 2.5 cm rounds
Red capsicum, 1 capsicum(s), cored, seeded and cut into squares
Zucchini, 1 medium, cut into 2.5 cm rounds
Red onion, 1 small(s), cut into wedges
Mushroom, 8 mushroom(s), wiped, stalks removed, and cut in half
Olive oil spray, 1 spray(s)
Tomato paste, no added salt, 1 tablespoon(s)

Cooking instructions
Combine marinade ingredients; ginger, garlic, lime juice, chilli, oyster sauce, sesame oil and vegetable oil, and pour over beef pieces, tossing to coat. Marinate overnight or for a minimum of 2 hours.
 
If using bamboo skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes.
 
Steam corn for 5–7 minutes or until tender.
 
Thread alternating pieces of beef and vegetables onto skewers. Use any leftover marinade to baste during cooking.
 
Place skewers under a hot grill and cook for for 8–10 minutes, turning once. Serve with a salad of mixed green leaves.
